The opening application was made to the Higher Education Institution with the document dated 14/12/2010 and numbered 5029, prepared in accordance with the decision taken at the meeting of the Senate of our University dated 04/11/2010 and numbered 26. It was approved by the Council of Ministers on 25/01/2016 upon the decision of the Higher Education Institution dated 20/07/2015 and numbered 40592 and the letter of the Ministry of National Education dated 22/12/2015 and numbered 13210223. Our faculty was established on 25/01/2016 with the decision of the Council of Ministers numbered 2016/8562 according to the additional 30th article of the Law dated 28/03/1983 and numbered 2809. The decision on our establishment entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated 08/04/2016 and numbered 29678. Based on the decision taken by the Senate of our University, it was proposed to take 40 students to the Higher Education Institution with the letter dated 23/03/2018 and numbered 2048. In accordance with the decision taken at the General Assembly Meeting of the Higher Education Institution on 17/05/2018, 100 student quota was given to our Faculty. Our Faculty, which received its first students for the 2018-2019 Academic Year, has taken the most important step towards its future by taking students between 12 thousand - 28 thousand in the National Exam Success Ranking.

Mission In accordance with the mission of Kırklareli University, which is determined as the strategic opening of Kırklareli University, to educate creative, inquisitive, researcher and dedicated, competent and self-confident people of law with free conscience and mind, who will contribute to the scientific and cultural accumulation of the region, country and the whole world in order to acquire, produce and share universal knowledge with a dynamic, experienced and competent academic staff with a developed sense of institutional belonging. Vision To educate innovative, creative, self-confident, self-confident individuals who are committed to universal ethical values in line with the expectations of our stakeholders in line with the needs of our country and region; To be the distinguished and preferred Faculty of Law of the region and the country through scientific activities produced in an egalitarian, libertarian and pluralistic academic environment.
Dean’s Massage
Dear Students, First of all, I sincerely congratulate you for taking the first steps of education for the profession of right and justice by enrolling in our Faculty of Law. I welcome you all with my wishes for vast success throughout your education period. Kırklareli University Faculty of Law is one of our new law faculties that started its education and training life in 2018. Our Faculty, which stands out with its undergraduate and graduate programmes as well as the doctorate programme opened in 2022, aims to provide a legal education that responds to the requirements of the age with its young, dynamic, devoted and expert staff. In this direction, our Faculty continues its education and training activities in order to realise the ideal of the rule of law based on values such as justice, freedom, human dignity, democracy and human rights in order to reach the level of contemporary civilisation shown by Atatürk. The curriculum of our Faculty, which aims to train qualified lawyers who can solve legal problems by weighing them on the scales of reason and conscience away from rote memorisation, includes classical public law and private law courses as well as new law courses brought about by globalisation and technological developments. However, I would like to emphasise that the academic activities of our Faculty do not consist of the lectures included in the weekly syllabus. Within the framework of various collaborations, interviews with theoreticians and practitioners are organised, panels and conferences are held in our Faculty. Student clubs operating within our faculty also make significant contributions to such activities. Apart from these, I would like to add that the new building of our Faculty, which we moved to in 2020, provides the opportunity to carry out our education and training activities in very modern conditions. On behalf of the faculty members of our faculty, I welcome all our students once again and wish them success, health and happiness in all areas of their lives.
